My name is Leo, and over the last few years, I’ve been blessed with earning my Commercial Pilot, A&P mechanic, and Flight Instructor Certificates(CFI/CFII). I come from a Latino heritage with no one in my family being in aviation. I’m from Canton, MI, and have been in or around the aviation industry ever since I got out of high school. I never imagined a career in aviation growing up, but working on cars led me to learn how to fix aircraft, which then led me to learn how to fly airplanes. My jobs in aviation have included airplane deicer, ramp agent, aircraft technician for SkyWest, U.S Air Force KC-135 Crew Chief, and most recently, flight instructor. My experience in aviation has been a journey filled with memories that I have cherished, and my favorite part is sharing the experience with friends, family, and every student I fly with. As the instructor, I aim to make the training experience fun for each of my students but primarily focus on instilling safe practices and procedures.
