This is a great flight school! I have wanted to fly or as long as I can remember, and when I started flying with Halls I couldn't of been more satisfied. As a high schooler, my schedule is very flamboyant, and with the flexibility and awesomeness of the instructors I never have had a problem. The quality of training is something to be admired if you decide to do work with this flight school, which I think makes it a great flight school to fly with on top of the generous hospitality of everyone that works there, including students. If you are looking for a place to get your license, or even go on a discovery flight I cannot recommend Halls enough to you to fulfill your wants and need. Truly a great place!

Just finished my PPL and did all my training at Halls. Very knowledgeable and personable instructors. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to get their license go here. I will definitely be sticking around to rent as well.

Highly recommended to anybody looking for flight training in Southeast Michigan as Grosse Ile is a beautiful place to fly in/out of!

Truly a hidden gem for flight training with great river and Detroit views. I’ve been working on my PPL at Hall’s Flying Service after having tried out three different schools in the State. Best price, great flight instructors, great aircraft, military friendly (MINGSTAP), and availability is great. Their passion is flying. They’ve been excellent with getting me through training as efficiently as possible.

Words cannot describe how astonishing Dominic Hall was. Truly one of the best people I have known. From his EMT days, his impeccable career as an airline pilot, and his career as a businessman. Taking a chance on me, he welcomed me into his world with open arms, and became one of the most influential people in my aviation career. I will forever miss all of the hours spent at the airport together. From having the Sunday funnies, rearranging the office every time he was out of town just so he would have an excuse for not knowing where something was at, catching him napping in the recliner, endless stories, jokes and life long lessons in and out of the plane. This man would do anything for anyone, the most giving person I have ever been around, the selflessness knew no bounds, just wanted to share his passion for flying and have some fun along the way. So many aviators were impacted by him, and will have a lasting impression throughout their flying days.
